We provide individual career paths
Every individual can determine his or her own pace. We do not subscribe to the “hire and fire” philosophy because we believe in long-term cooperation and investment in our employees; this makes sense for our consultants as much as it does for us.
Entry as Associate Consultant
Higher education graduates start their working life at J&M as Associate Consultants. Promotion to "Consultant” follows after one to two years, according to performance levels. The next Step on the ladder leads to a position as “Senior Consultant”.
Solution Expert or Manager with leadership responsibilities
In the next phase, consultants can choose between a technical career as “Solution Expert” or a managerial position with leadership responsibilities. A J&M manager is responsible for the organisation, deployment, well-being and personal development of up to seven colleagues.
Business responsibilities of a “partner”
J&M is predominantly represented by so-called “partners” in the Marketplace. A partner is responsible for an entire business sector or a competence centre. Furthermore, he/she has the disciplinary responsibility for the associated manager and senior manager.
Human resources development and training
We offer the chance to grow, to experience new challenges, to learn new subjects and to assume new responsibilities. J&M is committed to creating the perfect conditions for the development of its staff members, and nothing is left to chance. Our training concept plays a decisive role in human resource development. The programme is available to every employee, and is geared towards the specific requirements and demands of each individual person and company position.

HR Management at J&M
'I am sometimes asked whether our large number of career steps is compatible with our flat hierarchical structure. My answer is that it is the natural way in which all work together and the contributions of each individual that counts, and not his or her position. In contrast to this, the different career steps provide orientation for each individual with regards to his or her personal development.'
