The Supervisory Board

Prof. Dr. h. c. Lothar Späth (centre of shot) is the Chairman of the Supervisory Board. The former Prime Minister of Baden-Württemberg is the current Chairman of Merrill Lynch Germany and Austria, and was the CEO of Jena-based firm Jenoptik AG from 1991 to 2003.

Dr.-Ing. Karl Schnirel (left of shot) (Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board) can point to a career as a top manager in the chemical-pharmaceutical sector, most recently as Global CIO at Roche Pharmaceuticals. He advises international companies on corporate strategy and planning.

Prof. Dr. Kai Furmans (right of shot) (Member of the Supervisory Board) is Head of the Institute for Conveying Technology and Logistics at the University of Karlsruhe and a recognised lean manufacturing expert.
